Penny Creek, Friday Feb 2; meet at Food Lion in Ra...

I hate to do a show and go before a club trip, but I have a friend who wanted to do the Penny Creek trip the club did a few weeks ago and could not come.  So, we are doing the same trip this Friday, Feb 2.  We'll meet at the Food Lion in Ravenel at 9 and go down to the landing and launch.  We're be paddling against the 5th hour of the tide on the way out and be using the last hour to bring us back. Total trip length is about 5 miles and would be classified as an L1.  We will go through a rice field canal.

A few people know about this trip already.  I waited to put it out as a show and go pending the weather forecast for Friday cleaning up and it has.

If you plan to come, you can reply via this e mail link or just send em an e mail to If you already told me, you do not need to tell me again.

The Friday forecast is now good, but please be watching for an e mail should it turn bad.

I'm looking forward to it!
