Hi All,
We've cancelled our little vacation and I've now been handed lead to tomorrows paddle. Remember a week ago when I said that this is an easy paddle unless the winds are blowing hard up or down the ICW. Well, tomorrows NOAA forecast is NE wind 16 knots, gusts 20-25 knots. Julie and I drove over to IOP to feel the wind an hour ago. It'd be a great trip down, but not up.
So CANCELLING TOMORROW'S PADDLE
I am though going to announce a Show and Go shortly in it's place. Bacon's Bridge up to check out the new park landing on the Ashley. We'll be launching around the top of the tide, so paddling against the beginning of the outgoing tide.You're all welcome to join. RSVP to me or just show up.
