Kayaking 101 program is coordinated by the ACA to partner with the State Parks, Dept of Natural Resources, and US Coast Guard Auxiliary to offer basic paddling safety skills.
This effort is coordinated across 8 states and almost 50 different locations all over the country.
The message is to create “accessibility” for people who might not otherwise be aware of water safety. This program has reached 100’s of thousands of people through in person training as well as national and local news stories via network news and social media sources.
We need volunteers to take photos to be eyes and ears on the water for safety etc. if you have availability to help out, it is for a great cause….all dear to our hearts….PADDLING safely!
