I'm looking for someone to lead the Oct 10, Wambaw Creek paddle. This is an L1 and "you can't get lost". Many of us have been on Wambaw Creek, so I'm hoping someone will sign up. This is a great opportunity to "get your feet wet" about trip leading. If you have not led a trip, or led one in sometime, this is an easy trip to lead.
The club needs to develop more trip leaders and thss is a chance to add to our club resources.
Trip leader guidelines are on the club's web page...you can scroll down under "members paddling" and review them.

Wambaw Creek (Francis Marion Forest. About 9 miles.

Rating: L1+, Very sheltered
Where: Meet at Wambaw Creek Bridge, offload boats and be ready to launch by 9:30. Put Wambaw Creek Boat Ramp in your mapping app. Do not be confused with Wambaw Creek Still Landing...that is the wrong landing).
Logistics: High tide at Still landing is about 11:00. We’ll paddle upstream with the tide, take a nice break at Still Landing, and then paddle downstream with the tide. Expect to be back by 1:30.
