Non club members and member guests must contact the trip leader before the trip.
Boat type, size, and paddling skills should be discussed with the trip leader.

Rating: L2, open water

Where: Meet at Cherry point Boat Landing and be ready to launch by 9:00.(Put Cherry point Boat landing in your mapping app).

Logistics: Low tide at Deveaux Bank is about 10:30. We’ll paddle down to Deveaux Bank, take a nice break, and then return with the incoming tide. Plan to be back at the landing no later than 1:30.

Trip Leader: Don Dibble 

Note 1: We checked the SCDNR website and it said that the bank was open below the high tide mark through March 14. This is a unique opportunity.

Note 2: The Edisto River is very wide in this area and should be considered open water.

Note 3: Not mandatory, but at least a 14 foot boat and carrying a skirt is highly recommended.
