Non club members and member guests must contact the trip leader before the trip. Boat type, size, and paddling skills should be discussed with the trip leader.

Where: Meet at Herbert Jessen Landing and be ready to launch by 10:30. Put Herbert Jessen Boat Landing in your mapping app
Logistics: High tide at Bacons Bridge is 12:15. We’ll paddle upriver with the tide past Bacons Bridge Road until the tree fall stops us...probably no more than a mile past Bacons Bridge. We'll turn around and paddle back to Bacons Bridge for a break. Tide will help us paddle both ways. Bathrooms are available in the park at Bacons Bridge. Expect to be back by 3:30

UPDATE: Since Jessen Landing is quite busy on weekends with powerboats and associated boat trailer parking, we’ll be using the Jessen kayak launch at the far right at the landing, right behind the restrooms.
