The chance of scattered thunderstorms for Saturday is above 40% from 6 AM until 1 PM. That percentage is too high with us out on the Ashepoo River for as long as we would be on it. Yes, it was 90% chance of thunderstorms this morning and Charleston was sunny, but I do not think we should be out in the open with the chance of thunderstorms over 40%. This weather is just too uncertain.
I am very sorry, but by cancelling now, you can make other plans for Saturday.
