Update: weather forecast has improved and now includes "stray shower or thunderstorm". I have been advised that we have previously stopped for lunch at the RV park with no problems so expect to do that.
We will meet at Bushy Park (Back River side) at 0900 and launch about 0930 to paddle up Foster Creek to where the creek passes the base RV park. Plan to have lunch in your boat as the property on both sides of the creek is restricted access . Current forecast is for 60% chance of rain and scattered thunderstorms. Recommend head covering, sun screen, bug spray and maybe a rain jacket. Don’t forget plenty of water and snacks.
