Will meet at Leeds Ave landing at 8:30, unload kayaks, car pool to Wappoo Cut landing, leave cars and return to Leeds Ave landing. It is eight miles to the turnoff to Wappoo Cut Landing down the Ashley River and two miles to that landing. Low tide is 11:30. We will have an outgoing current (about 2 miles and hour) and if you can paddle at lease two and a half miles an hour, we should be at the cut off by 11:30. With an incoming current to carry us to Wappoo landing. I will be at Trader Joes at 8 am if anyone east cooper wants to follow me to Leeds Ave Landing to unload. Leeds Ave. also called County Farm Landing is off Dorchester Rd or if coming from West Ashley, get on I-526 toward North Charleston and take Leeds Ave exit, turn at the stop light and landing is .5 mile to landing. Recommend 14 ft. kayaks or longer, must wear PFD and have whistle. Water breaks every half hour will be only stop.
