Thursday, November 1, Upper Wadboo Creek at 10 am

Looking at the forecast with 10-20 mph winds expected in Charleston Thursday, it's a great time to go inland and paddle the gorgeous Wadboo. We'll meet at at the Rembert C. Dennis boat landing on Hwy 402 at 10 am and launch when ready. From Mt Pleasant take Hwy 41 about 19 miles to 402, left on 402 approximately 12 miles to landing. (You'll see sign for Mepkin Abbey, go around a curve, over a creek, and it's RIGHT THERE on the right!) Paddlers are required to wear a PFD and have a whistle. For this paddle the length of your boat is not important, bring water and a snack.
