Keep Berkeley Beautiful
and
Blueway Adventures, LLC
for the 13th Annual Francis Marion National Forest Cleanup. Let’s keep our forest and waterways clean, protect wildlife and improve water quality! FREE kayaks provided by Blueway Adventures. FREE T-shirt, lunch and supplies provided by Keep Berkeley Beautiful and Palmetto Pride! Volunteers with their own kayaks are welcome and encouraged to attend. Limited number of free kayaks, so please register early. (see contact info below).
Details: Meet at 8:30 am at the Huger Recreation Area (see map link below) to sign in and get supplies. We'll clean up boat landing on land and Huger Creek by kayak. FREE lunch at 12 pm at Francis Marion Ranger District where we’ll join other cleanup teams to celebrate!
To sign up and/or reserve kayak, contact Deb at 843-697-2812 or deb@bluewayadventures.com by Thursday, 1/30/20. Sign up early - limited number of kayaks available on first come first served basis. You're always welcome to bring your own kayak!
Volunteers are encouraged to wear long pants and long-sleeve shirts. Gloves, bags and vests will be provided. Weather-appropriate outerwear is recommended. Lunch will be served to all volunteers and staff.
